History

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!" - Martin Luther King Jr.

God has certainly blessed America!
What a privilege to be an American at this moment of History!

Brian was able to go to the Rally downtown. He didn't have tickets, but he and a friend were able to get into the non-ticket section of Grant Park. He said it was amazing!

im really excited and have been congratulaed by all the teachers at my school today. It's cool to be able to see all the reactions overseas but i wish i was there to take in all that celebrations especially in grant park. I feel like my kids and aimee and daniel will one day ask me where i was when i found out obama was president...and ill say " i was in spain, i woke up late for work and heard the voicemail tia liz sent me". not very cool.

Stephanie: Please promise me you will not tell your kids you got it from your mother...I mean the waking up late.
Martin Luther Liz: I am so excited, I think even my nose is celebrating because I feel so much better.
I am saving the signs for my grand children and yes, I am going to tell them that your nickname in High school was "Martin Luther Liz"
Love, Mom.
